What the....?!?

I'm the first to admit that I (Zachariah) have a wee touch of arachnophobia. Fiona is making me specify that it's ME, not HER, because she actually kind of likes spiders and doesn't want a spider-hating repuation. I don't really mind spiders and other uncomely arachnids, so long as they maintain a decent distance from my personal space. At any rate, I don't think it matters if you suffer from a small lingering uneasiness associated with arachnids, insane fear, or none at all to really not be comfortable when you look over at the wall next to you while peeing to see the below looking back at you offensively...

Hi Zachariah.... I think I'd be a bit concerned about unfamiliar fellows like that guy in the pic...I'd keep my distance. I wonder what kind he is? I don't mind the busy little guys I find around here sometimes...

I won't judge you for hating or even killing spiders if you don't judge me for killing scorpians and I might add.... taking great joy in it!! Are you sure it's not some kind of mutated form of a scorpion..... seriously thats what Jason thought when he walked by and saw it!!
I think you should catch it and put it on fionas pillow to see how spider happy she really is!!!!!!

I just want you to know that my stomach is churning as i see the picture out of the corner of my eye. I am feeling faint... Kinda weird to think that I catch spiders and stick them in jars together, to "watch nature at work."

It's a book scorpion, also known as a pseudoscorpion. (Technically not a scorpion, although it looks like it is.) It's actually beneficial in keeping down your lice, moth, etc., population. But I am glad it's benefitting you and not me.

Thanks Julie for identifying it, I'd much rather ship it off to you then keep it here though.
