My famous green sister

My sister was on her local news for being a "green mom." I thought I'd share, it's kinda cool. Keep an eye on the "sandwiches" she slides down the table, they're just two pieces of bread -- poor kids! Usually they have stuff inside, but the cameraman just needed B-roll so she was pretending to feed the children. She's very pleased that they felt the need to actually include shots of the pathetic little bread sandwiches, haha! Though of course, no one would really notice unless it was pointed out to them... like what I just did. Sad thing is, the kids ate them. Guess they were hungry. I think she did a great job! Way to go, Aislinn!

(Edited 5/24: Okay, I'm taking out the embedded video and only adding the link to it, since it automatically plays anytime the blog opens...which can be kinda annoying...)

Very cool! Aislinn did a great job, and the kids were so cute! I love that they interviewed Maire too. I can't believe we have a famous sister...;)

that's so nifty. If I had kids I'd ask you for some tips.

Good Job Aislinn! If that is actually your house on the video, it is pretty, if not it still is pretty but you don't get credit... I plan to use cloth when/if we have kids, but don't tell Jacob yet, the idea grosses him out, only cause he thinks the poop goes in the washer. I guess he didn't see cloth diapers at all when he was growing up. Anyhow, good on you.

Hi F & Z ..... I didn't realize you had the video on your blog... that is very nice. Yes, Marcia, it is Aislinn's house :) They are at the end of a cul-de-sac, which is very handy for reining in the little ones when they want to ride bikes/trikes around front.
Love, Mom (Dad too) xox

That's rad! I bought my gDiapers like I said I would last year when I discovered them. :) They are way too cute!

Dominic was a little on the petite side for wearing them. After the last package of throw-aways are done with I am going to start using them. We tried them for a couple of days and decided they were a little too big. He is around 9lbs now so.. we'll see. :)

I don't think I could do cloth. I like being able to simply toss the poo. ;)

Hey, I just toss the poo, too. You don't think I'd be doing this if I had to have actual poo contact do you??? ;o)

Thanks, Marcia...that is our actual house, LOL. Good thing Curtis cut the grass and trimmed the bushes just a couple of days earlier...we didn't know they were going to film the outside, LOL.

I would also like to take this moment to remind everyone that the camera adds 50 lbs. ;o)
