One of Nuala's (cough, cough, MANY) timeouts this summer was spent on the front porch. I can't remember why... usually they're relegated to the top of the basement stairs. Or, if they are extra LOUD while in timeout, down the basement stairs to the very back room. A quite undesirable location. But Nuala lucked out and got the front porch.
Of course, she then had to fall asleep on the door mat. And before you gasp in horror, I'll tell you that she was only out there for, seriously, about 3 minutes. Maybe her extreme exhaustion contributed to whatever necessitated the timeout. Extreme exhaustion + a-brother-who-is-an-EXPERT-at-laughingly-pushing-your-buttons-for-the-entertainment-value = baaaaad combination.
He was pretty tickled that she was snoozing there on the front porch. Pret-ty tickled, indeed.
Oddly, she was NOT tickled about the situation. She was none too pleased about being woken up, especially to be immediately plunked in front of the camera to document her branded forehead.
See? Poor girl. Can't even run for cover in her dazed and exhausted state.
Bran tried to hug her. Because, you know, that's the smart thing to do when Nuala's ultra-grumpy. Though actually it is, if your goal is to bug her more. And you can count on that being his goal about 94% of the time. Brothers! Gotta love 'em.

Bwahahahahahaha! Sorry, Nuala, to laugh at your predicament, but you make it too hard not to when you do stuff like this, LOL. The look on her face is priceless, and I love that Bran tried to hug her, LOL. The last pic is hilarious, with her pushing him away while he smiles and she looks so tired and dazed, LOL. Oh, HaHaHahahahahah!!! that is so funny ...but, Nuala, I am also very sorry about the dents ... though they are kinda cute little decorations, don't you think?! I can surely see how Bran is enjoying his role in the entire thing ... oh, yeah, and the "hug" ... the rascally grin indicates how very very sincere the hug was gonna be!
