Vacuum Cleaner Love

I never really vacuum while the twins are up. (Yes, I do vacuum other times, you doubters of my housekeeping skills. Ahem, Aislinn...or all my siblings...or a lot of you! Hey, I clean! And I do not sound defensive at all, haha!) We moved the couch out of their "playroom" on Saturday, though, to free up some more toy space, so out came the vacuum cleaner. I wasn't sure what sort of reception it would receive, I kinda thought they'd be nervous because of the noise. Ha! As if! Nuala was out in the backyard and as soon as it roared to life, that girl came charging in and insisted on climbing aboard. Not exactly what we expected!

So she got to ride around and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bran wanted a turn, but when we tried to switch them out, Nuala threw one of those contagious fits that somehow made him believe he actually didn't want a turn and we were forcing him on it, so he missed out. Poor guy, maybe next time. This last picture is when we were done vacuuming and we were trying to get Nuala off to put it away. Could it be love? I wonder if she'll try to trade up for a Harley...

I can't decide who will need therapy the most--Nuala, Bran, or the vacuum.

How fun! Maybe Nuala will want to vacuume all the time for you!? And your kids like to dress like my little Z! Less laundry is how I like to look at it!

now that I have finally quit lol... I can tell you how much I enjoyed the pics and story! It's so amazing Nuala has no fear; most li'l ones do NOT like the vacuum. I guess Bran could see that it wasn't exactly gobbling Nuala up, so he was willing to try (if only he'd gotten the chance.....)

Vacuums are sacred things. Are you teaching Nula the proper way to vacuum?
