Just some N&B pictures...

Boy is it hard to get two 16-month olds to smile at the same time! So, in big sister fashion, Nuala smiles first...a little one, but it's there! And ya gotta love the outfit. Cousin Brigit's yellow and red floral pants are already a favorite, and they go awesomely with a pink striped shirt. Her choice, though I'm realizing I can dress these two in whatever the heck is around/clean and can shift all responsibility for clashing outfits directly onto their sweet little heads. "Oh, Bran just INSISTED on wearing Nuala's pink pants today! I told him his jeans would match his camo shirt better, but you know toddlers!" I imagine myself saying, shaking my head resignedly, as Bran scrounges under the table for a cracker crumb. But, again, I'm rambling. Moving on...

Then a big ol' Bran grin -- nasty diaper rash and all. What a trooper. I blame the cabbage. He had been running about diaper-less, but after 45 minutes in our crisp fall weather I think Bran Jr. was ready to hop back inside.

If he hadn't just gotten his hair cut, I'd almost think she was braiding it for him. Though I don't think she knows how...Maybe a back scratch?


And finally, FINALLY, two grins at once! Captured! Maybe not full on grins, but cute smiles, humoring Mama. My day is complete. Really, I was watching them from the kitchen window and they were so dang cute I kept running out with the camera...and no smiles. Back in I go....look out the window again and there they were, posing up a storm...run out...back in...run out...innocent angels or pint-sized conspirators? I vote both.
