Bran and Nuala (more Bran on this one) have recently become keenly interested in motorcycles (moto in Bran and Nuala speak). And of course living in a third world country a large percentage of the population uses motos to get around... so every where we go Bran and Nuala point out all the motos. Bran is especially attached to motos and wants to ride every moto he sees moto moto dada, rai moto, Bran rai moto (rai = ride). The grocery store we frequent sells motos, so usually we let them sit on the motos for a few minutes when we come out of the store.
For Christmas we had been toying with the idea of trying to order them some powerwheels four wheelers but were not sure that they would make it all the way through the mail. With all the restrictions on batteries some things won't make the last air leg. So, about 2 weeks ago I had to go to Panama and then on to Miami for a very short trip and while in Miami I stopped in at Toys 'R Us and bought two powerwheels four wheelers. My trip was to Panama for four hours, then back on the plane to Miami same day, overnight in Miami and then fly back to Montevideo the next evening. All I had was a carry on, and flying business you have less baggage restrictions, so I just checked the two four wheelers on. I was set to arrive back in Montevideo at about 12 noon, when the twids are supposed to be sleeping. So when I rolled up in the taxi I didn't try to hide the boxes, thinking the little guys wouldn't see them. They were really excited to see me come home, so mommy let them wait up until I got home. As they ran out to see me at the curb, Bran's attention was immediately drawn to the picture of a little tike riding a big green moto on the side of a huge box I was trying to stand in front of.
It took a lot of effort to drag him away from the box and put them down for their nap, Bran had these huge dinosaur tears and just kept saying moto moto, dada moto. Sooo, Santa is going to have to bring something else, because we opened the motos up early.
It didn't take more then about 10 minutes before they started trying some trick riding...

Hahaha lol! They are so cute! Nice trick riding. Looks they're taking after Z oh, and F actually too. That's so funny that you had to give them their "moto"s early. They really looove them! I asked Colin if we should get one and he said, uh huh. Brigit thinks so too. Bran looks so completely happy on his super cool moto!
I remember one the Rollins kids when there were little.
There jaw kept working at something in there mouth, I could not stand it any more, so I stuck my finger in the mouth to clean it out.
And out popped a slug.
Yeck., my finger was even stick.
Double yeck.

Nice video. Looks like those toys will keep them occupied for ages!
Way cute video! They look like they're having tons of fun. Poor Bran, being sent to nap after seeing such an exciting toy!
I love how Nuala always seems to be the dare-devil first. Such a fearless little thing!
Luckily almost anything excites 2 year olds at Christmas. When Paige was 2 or 3, she asked Santa for a candy cane for Christmas. That was all she wanted and was thrilled to get one. Santa did sneak a few other things in her stocking...
Well it looks like they have already got the whole driving thing down pretty well. Trick riding even. That looks like a lot of fun. Powerwheels are the coolest. Its always funny to watch videos of them. Anyway, happy thanksgiving!

P.S. I keep meaning to email Z to give him a great website for watching t.v. from overseas. It is called surfthechannel.com. A lot of shows have japanese or spanish subtitles, but you can find pretty much anything on there (although the quality isn't as good as nbc.com, etc.).
I want some -- do they come in adult sizes? That video is classic.
Wow, what fun presents! It's fun when kids get so excited about something.
That is pretty funny that Bran knew exactly what they were! Oh that looks like so much fun!
What a great christmas present! A great video. Must say that Bran's moto is a very cool color! Nuala matches well with hers and I am sure that Brigit would love a pink moto, also. Love ya, Mom and Dad
What a cool present!
I say re-wrap the motos on Christmas Eve and give them to them again! :)
We have a two seat Jeep. Paige is the driver....
The first time she was in it, she had no fear. She ran into a landscape rock, and it tipped backwards onto it's back and the wheels kept spinning. Paige wouldn't take her foot off the accelerator. She started yelling for me to put it right, so she could keep going. I couldn't believe it.
I think we need little ones though like yours, so the kids can race around the yard...
Actually Bran was the inventor of the trick riding, but Nuala was quick to jump on the bandwagon...
I'm dying laughing!!
"oh those crazy rich Americans buying motos for their 2yr olds!" LOL verrry cute!
