Today was quite the day! We went for the babies' two week (and two day) checkup, my two week (...and two day...) checkup, and on several other errands. Nuala and Bran were surprised with a needle stick in their little thighs, which, while sad for all of us, did have the benefit of making the two of them pretty sleepy. They were so zonked we even managed to zip by REI, definitely an unnecessary stop.They've each gained weight wonderfully, thank goodness! Nuala was 6lbs. 11oz. at birth, and is now half an ounce shy of 7lbs. Bran was 6 lbs. 3oz. at birth, and now is a hefty 7lbs. 1.5oz. At their birth, Zac and I were blissfully ignorant of the realities of being parents, and now are in a constant state of sleep deprivation. All is well.

unfortunatly sleep still seems somewhat elusive some times after a year, but wathching them grow makes it all worthwhile. lots of love and cant wait to hold them!!!
