End of July

July is over, or soon will be. Bummer. That means summer's almost over. Hmmm...that's kinda good, we do want these babies to make their appearance at some point...

I guess I never fully count August as summer because back home in Texas, school always started about the middle of the month. Here in Virginia, the kids don't go back till September, and in many other parts of the country as well, I know. Of course, they don't get out till mid/end of June, so they probably don't really consider June as summer. I'm just rambling.

Yesterday was my birthday, I'm 27. Not exciting, I think that's officially over the mid-20's mark. But it could be worse! Actually, it's not bad at all, it just sounds old to me, but I guess birthdays do that, bump ya up a year. Tomorrow is my sister Tara's birthday! She'll be 21, that's kinda sadder to me, since she's the baby of the family, and now the baby's 21! It'll also be my nephew Patrick's 7th birthday, but 7 is not sad.

Even though summer's winding down, we still have a week-long Seattle trip coming up! Zac will do a bunch of scuba diving (claims the Puget Sound is the best diving around) and we'll hang out with his family. The part I'm most looking forward to is flying cross-country while pregnant, fun ;)
