We hung out with Mike-and-Julie-of-the-awesome-backyard. You might remember them from such posts as "Antarctica! brrr.." since they went there with us. There's Bran, Jack, and Jonah above, eating cookies.
Here is a partial view of their awesome backyard, with their awesome zipline that Mike put in. It's super long, and really fun. The kids love it, and so do the grown-ups! They have a swing for it, or a thing you just dangle from your hands on, or...
...if you're small enough, a baby swing! Maeve had the honor of being the first baby to go on it. It looks like she wasn't too thrilled, but really, she liked it. She was fussy and crying before we put her in, then stopped to enjoy the ride, and then started up again once it ended. I had a good pic of her being HAPPY in it, but my computer munched it. Grrr.

Mike and Maeve snacking on their fists.
More non-Rollinses... My sis and her family just moved to Washington! To Snoqualmie, which is a very pretty town near Seattle. Pretty? Gorgeous! They were still in a hotel when we visited them, just waiting for the nice lady to move out of their house. I got to go see their new place, and it's great. I'm excited for them to be in the Seattle area for a while. I'd love to live there for a couple of years, but I don't think I could do the permanent thing. I need more warmth... a little less rain. Though summer is lovely! Yeah, I could definitely do a couple of years...Colin, Nuala, Liam, Brigit on top... Bran in the hole.
Yep, they're cute!
Bran and Brigit posing on some rocks by Snoqualmie Falls. Brigie looks really grown-up in this one...
Erin and Aoife, and Maeve and me, in front of Snoqualmie Falls. Erin and I look all grown-up, too!
This river was FREEZING. Of course. But it was fun. It goes through their little town, has a nice little beach/park area. Seriously, freezing. But very invigorating. There's Rob submerging himself. Erin and I did, too. Brrrrr!! Maeve and Aoife did not. They preferred to sunbathe.
Strong kiddos! Bran, Nuala, and Brigit
Also, I got to go see my old roomie, Emily! I love her :) Z does, too.

You would think yours and Erin's kids are cousins are something. Seriously, the picture of Maeve and Aoife sunbathing and Bran and Bridget on the rock really highlight their similarities.
You sure did see lotsa friends in Seattle :) What a lovely ... and GREEN ... backyard and trees Julie & Mike have ... ooh, that zipline looks so good!.. such cute children... The Rollins/Smith gang looked like they had fun together too! I didn't know Kristin & Oliver moved to Seattle ... their little ones are beautiful too. How fun that you got to see Emily again as well. What a brain-full of wonderful memories for you all! Thanks for sharing! Love, Mom (Dad too) xox
Oh, Emily! And look how cute Clara and Anna are too! Ahww! What fun that backyard looks like!!! When we move to our next place... ha ha ha ;) What a cool zip line, I'm sure Maeve really did Love it! We had fun at the little river, how come you didn't mention those guys who asked us if we were polygamous??? Ha ha!
That picture of Mike and Maeve is really cute! And Bran looks super old to me in the first pic!
Oh yeah, I'd forgotten about those guys, ha! Poor Rob, having to briefly entertain the possibility of TWO of us... And seven children 6 and under, haha! Hmmm...which is scarier...?
I totally missed this post because of the two more recent ones! What an awesome backyard, that looks waaaayyy safer than the zipline we had ;). Maeve and Aoife are so cute sunbathing together! The rest of them too, of course.
I really loved having Maeve on the zipline. Made my day. Seeing you guys was okay too. Glad we make you list of people to see. Next summer we will have the chickens too to play with, maybe put a chicken on the zipline...
