Camping in Oregon -- *rewind to July*

So here's a late Oregon/Washington post. Okay, just an Oregon one. Every year, Z's extended family goes camping for a week in Southern Oregon, along the Umpqua River. Beautiful, beautiful place, with loads of great spots to play in the river. Coooold river, but still fun.

The falls. So fun. If you missed our video earlier, Nuala loved going down these. On someone's lap, but still. Brave 2-yr old. Here are some pics of her, and then Bran, conquering the Falls.

Receiving congratulations from Auntie Heidi and Cousin Morgan, who she had lots of fun playing with, too. And now, Bran...
I love this shot...Z launching little Bran. Bran liked the ride, but the water was too cold for him. He came up crying and freezing, so once was all he did. Nuala went 3 times. She LOVED it. But started to get somewhat frozen, too...needed a towel-wrap break and some snuggling.

Cool picture of Hunter, contemplating his next stunt...

Bran and Daddy sitting above the Falls. This is where he kept asking to go off them with Z...

Setting sail on some little rapids...
And being rescued by cousin McKenna as the rapids ended and she floated away into a big, deep pool.

Maria (Z's older sis), Mia, Lilly, and Eldon, hanging out in the water.

McKenna, Hunter, and Rylee playing (Maria's oldest 3).

Bran basically stuck to Hunter like glue when he could. He loved hanging out with him. It was adorable. I think they kinda look alike. Big, round heads...ears that kinda stick out. Handsome fellas!

Nuala, Mia, and Bran. Mia's 7 months older than N&B. She and Nuala had a blast together. A BLAST.

Mia, Lilly, Emma, Nuala, and Bran with Grandma Buttons. Poor Grandma had a broken arm. Wait'll you see what she wore over it to play in the water, haha!!

Nuala and Mia running off some s'more energy. Wait, this is too early for s'mores...toddler energy, we'll go with that..

Our cute girl. The first hour or two we were at the campsite, she took a spill in the woods, rewarding herself with a rockin' nose scrape for the rest of the visit.

Nuala and Mia, sharing a giggle. College roommates in the making?

Going down the rapids. It looks like fun because it IS fun!

Hunter taking Bran Man down the rapids.

I heard there was a movie once about 2 cowboys...I can't remember... Anyway, here's two cowboys from Z's family... Jeff and Ben, riding the bull.

And HA! Do you see Grandma's "oven mitt"? Awesome!! just awesome. It's practically a flipper. She overestimated the size she needed to order...just slightly.

What a stud-muffin. Z, I mean. I don't know, maybe that other guy, too, but I can't really tell from here... not as studly as Zac, though.

We had a great time...unfortunately, we didn't get as many pics of EVERYONE that we wanted to. I was feeling pretty gross (what, 10...11 weeks pg?) and didn't man the camera much. We borrowed lots of these pics from Maria and Uncle Randy, so thanks, guys! We're looking forward to next year!

Hi there ... I like how everyone is so warmly dressed ... b/c it was SO NICE AND COOL there! It looked like so much fun too. I see a big roaring fire... Bran's inner tube is bigger than he is ... but guess it doesn't weigh too much ... Poor Nuala's nose ... it looks very cute though... shows she must've been running and having fun ... noses heal ... memories last (though I wonder if they'll remember ... well, there are always lotsa pics to remind them ...). Cute pic of the "3 men in a tub" ... well, 2 women and 1 man :) Little Mia is so cute too ... they all are! Thanks for sharing with us... Love, Mom (Dad too) xox
