Bran complained at first about his feet touching the sand. It wasn't hot, I think it was just because he needed to get used to it again. After a while he didn't mind, but this is how he insisted on sitting at first. I just love his grin, he cracks me up!
Nuala was really into showering the guys with sand. Z was really NOT into that. Bran didn't seem to care one way or the other. Probably because Z was being a pretty effective sand umbrella. Poor Nuala, all her fun spoiled! And see what awesome toys we bring to the beach? A snow shovel and a trowel. We are the coolest parents.
Oooooh, the water was calling her...
A little vid of Nuala enjoying the water. She eventually was soaked and shivering, but threw a fit when we dragged her away. Bran didn't want to get in the water at all. He was content to play in the sand with some other little kiddos. You can hear Nuala squealing in delight, and at about 58 secs she tries to drink the water. Yumm...
(And now you don't hafta look at that disgustingly delicious sandwich anymore! haha!! ;)

Fun! I love Bran's feet, very creative of him.
That is how Maylee used to sit in the grass except it more exaggerated. Her feet were all the way up by her ears. Yeah for the beach. I got my dad in trouble when they took me to the beach when I was little because I made him take me out to where the waves were drowning me.
Hi F&Z&N&B..... oh, that was so much fun to watch :) :) :) I wanted to be there again... Nuala is willing to try anything fun, isn't she! Bran is just waiting till it warms up a little bit more... his grin is so cute. You made me LOL at the BIG BIG shovel and the little bitty trowel... might as well make them double the measure of their creations... we had to watch the video several times ... the squeals of delight are great too. Thanks for sharing ...it just makes our day :) xox
Oh, the beach! How fun! I loved hearing Nuala's little squeals on the video. What a little fish. Fearless too, huh? Thanks for the post as I don't think I could have looked at that sandwich one more time. Eew! :) Nuala and Bran are so much more appetizing.
Nuala's squeals are hilarious. She is quite the wild woman- no fear at all. Next thing you know she will be pulling back flops off the rope swing at the Umpqua!! haha. That picture of Z and Bran is cute.
It is freezing in Brussels right now and there is a constant mixture of mist and light rain. I don't really mind it, but the warm Uruguayan sand does sound kind of appealing!

It seems like you guys live in an eternal summer...I love how Bran holds his feet up...and Nuala with her the wind in hair and sand between her toes, staring into the distance. You have adorable kids!
By the way, where can I get one of those sand umbrellas?
