Another one bites the dust...etc.

Another pair of pants, that is! Grrr... I mentioned a while back how one of my two favorite pairs of pants got ripped up on one of the slides here (and my poor other pair died in Texas. I was really, really bummed.), well...Nuala did the same thing to her pants yesterday! darn slides... THEN they got caught again! Just on a slightly protruding head of a screw, not really sharp or anything...argh!! And these little pants were so cute, with loads of room to grow into them. Sigh.

We met another little fellow at the park, Joaquin, with a head-full of curls. He was a super-friendly two-year-old, and he tore his pants (and his other little pair of pants under the top pair) on the same slide. It actually happened under my watch. A watch I totally didn't agree to or even get heads up on. His abuelo suddenly started jogging away and shouted "el coche está solo! (the stroller's by itself)" So I was left with 3 toddlers at the semi-dangerous climbing structure with the clothes-ripping slide. The entire time, at least one of the three toddlers was attempting to wander off, and the other 2 climbers/sliders would always be at different stages of climbing/sliding. Yeah, thanks. We're lucky we only had ripped pants to deal with. I think next time I'll bring a hammer and smash down anything that looks slightly pants-threatening.

The "etc" part is just a couple of other pictures. Bran wore a tie for the first time to church! How handsome is my little man?? It's a rhetorical question, but feel free to answer.

And bed-head. Our heater has been crazy. We got back from the States and I seriously almost froze the entire first day and night back. Seriously. The babes got the extra space heater. I almost slept on their floor. THEN it got all warmed up and we were roasting! It wouldn't cool down! grumble, grumble... Now it seems to have been fixed, after a mere hour of working on it by some heater guy, who was really nice. I do fine talking to those fellas in Spanish until they start to do "technical talk" in español. Then I'm lost. Which would likely happen in English, too, so I don't feel too badly. Anyway, this is Nuala's post-nap sweaty bedhead in the dead of winter. Bran stayed asleep for an extra 15 minutes or so, which is always kinda nice...just having one up at a time. It's fun to totally focus on just one of them. I can tell they like it, too. We need to start doing more separate stuff with them, Z and I. Play 'em man-to-man rather than zone. Here's our kooky girl. She can still pull off the baby chick 'do.

Guess you'll have to sew some crazy patches on those pants! You make the playground sound like a dangerous place...lol...baby chick head is aptly named...and cute tie...he looks older.

Well thats a bummer Annie has those same pants in smaller size and there so cute. Well hopefully you will win the battle if you take the hammer next time.

Rats about the pants. Bran is definitely handsome and the crazy hair is adorable. Whats up with someone running off and leaving their child with a complete stranger? Did he just come back to get him? How long did it take?

I love her baby chick hair! That is such a cute picture! and the look on her face in the first pants picture is sooo funny. Bran is a VERY Handsome little man, growing sooo big and fast. I can't believe they'll be two in 4 1/2 months!

Yeah, they are getting big fast! :( I guess that happens... He left him with me for probably 5 minutes, which is actually a long time when you have 3 toddlers to corral. Guess I give off a safe vibe... ;)

Hmmm, I just can't believe someone left you babysitting his little guy...I remember when I'd go with you and N&B to the park, we'd each hafta glue eyes onto one twin as they'd invariably head off in different directions. The pics are very cute...love the tie, and the hair! Aawww.....the poor pants; just patch or maybe even just stitch around the torn area.. that'll do. You're doing a great job! Love you all xox

Awww...baby chick hair! Bran is sooo handsome and looks so grown-up with his tie! I was thinking about him today when I realized Rowan's hair is now long enough to curl out on the sides when he gets hot. He has two sweet curls on either side of his head and he totally looks like a girl. He probably needs a haircut a la Bran. ;o)(But he's not getting one, LOL)

Bummer about the pants! Good thing you're such a talented seamstress and can fix those right up!

I cannot believe that grandpa left Joaquin with you! Men. They just don't think sometimes. Most of the time. You know what I mean...

I can just imagine you trying to keep order with all three of them. LOL! So, did the abuelo get upset about the pants? I can't imagine that he did, given that he wasn't bothered by leaving the tot with a stranger... ;o)

We miss you all sooooo much!
