Nuala has this kinda scrunched-up-nose grin and laugh -- reminds me a bit of how my brother Gary used to "smile," but this is actually a smile, not a weird mouth pucker...he has since learned to smile, thank goodness, because while the weird mouth pucker was cute on a little tyke, it would be creepy on a 24 year-old.

Bran is a huge lip sucker, just loves that bottom lip!
Now, a mere 182-ish days later, we have rolling, sitting up, scootching, laughing babies! They've ballooned from a dinky 6+ pounds to about 16 or 17, the only time they can almost triple their weight in six months and no one will bat an eye! They're amazing :)

I love the look Nuala is giving Bran in the last photo. It's as if she is cautioning him against some act of boyishness she knows he is contemplating.
I wish I could send you the picture on my phone of Maylee laughing with her nose all puckered up. She loves to "fake' laugh and to copy us when we "fake" laugh.

Happy 6 months! They are so adorable and cute! I too love the look Nuala is giving Bran in the last picture it looks like she is ready to go pounce on him if he tries anything funny! And I love Nuala's smile too:)
Hi there! those are GREAT pictures... yes, that pucker-ish smile looks familiar! Now, Bran is the one looking more relaxed about everything...I seem to remember Nuala having that role earlier on, while he smiled and squirmed mischievously. She has a great big smile. I can't imagine how she manages to get up on that little foot like that! It seems like it'd just take a little ooomph and she'd be up on both feet!!! She is also sitting up nice and straight. Bran does that too, only not in these pics. They are so cute together. Thanks for sharing. Love, Mom (and Dad too)
Hey, it was the best I could manage at the time...Luckily, I have developed a much more charming smile with age! They are very cute though. I look forward to meeting them in a few weeks.
Oh my goodness! They are sooo cute, Fiona! Maybe they can motivate Rowan into sitting up by himself when we see them in a few weeks. He manages it for a minute or so and then....neeeeerooomph....over he flops. LOL.
It looks like she's just going to stand up and walk away. It would be funny if bran decided he was going to crawl first.
