The fun continues

*It's my brother Gary's 24th birthday, and my bro-in-law Doug's 28th! Happy Birthday fellas!*

As luck would have it, I'm sick. Yep, right after all the help leaves. Actually, Bran was pretty under the weather about a week ago, and then Nuala caught it a little, and now it's me. It was so sad when Bran was sick, he even lost his little voice! I'll admit, it was a tad bit nice at times, but overall it was heart-wrenching to see the little guy screaming and barely a squeak was coming out! I'm on the upswing of it now, but how I wish I could take just a little NyQuil! I've been taking loads of garlic and Vitamin C, so much so that when I went to play basketball yesterday, Erin ever so tactfully informed me, "You kind of smell..." Thanks.

When I got home from practice, the babies were ready to eat, so I quickly cleaned up a bit and fed the little tykes. As I started to burp Nuala, I felt an interestingly warm sensation on my neck. She was licking me. Apparently, I didn't clean up thoroughly enough. It was like she was a little deer and I, a large salt lick placed there for her enjoyment. Of course, I curtailed it as much as I could, I mean, that can't be good for a baby, no matter how tasty! It was kinda funny, but how grossed out will she be when she's 13 and I tell her how she liked to lick the dried sweat off Mommy's neck?

On a less icky note, Bran rolled over this morning! I'm pretty sure he was as surprised as I was, and I know it was only because of the desperation of the situation: he was having tummy time. Not exactly a favorite event around here. I tried to get him to repeat roll, but no luck. Hmmm...maybe he did do it on purpose. After having peed in his own face twice last night (how embarrassing!), perhaps he felt he needed to redeem himself a little bit...
