While in our cave hotel in Turkey, Maeve decided to take her first little bitty baby steps. She's not too sold on the idea. Well...no. The "idea" I think she loves, but the reality of it she's not too keen on. Crawling is much faster and much more controllable. She'll only take two steps at a time. We don't consider her officially walking, but it's a start... She's cute! And Z did let her have the water bottle at the end, poor babe. (And no, Erin, she didn't quite get those steps in in the 3 days you allotted her, so Aoife won that round. Dagnabit! ;)
I'm adding in Maeve's 9 month stats here (she'll be 10 months Dec. 6), just so I have it recorded... Height: 27-1/2", weight: 17 lbs. The nurse said she's in the 50th percentile for height and 25th for weight, but I think she's in a lower percentile weight-wise, based on cousin Gracie's stats and an internet search. She's a little smidge still, and we love her!

That was very nice ... poor little Maeve... she made a valiant effort to walk to that bottle of water! She took a couple of good solid steps :) We had a great time looking/laughing at it! Thanks! Love, Mom (Dad and the rest of us here too) xox
Oh! She is Sooo Cute!!! And she's done Two steps in a Row!!! Aoife's only done the one step thing...still... So, being in Turkey helped her channel the adventurous Indiana Jones spirit, ha, not that she needs any inspiration, she has her own drive! Sooo Cute! A cave hotel??? That sounds super cool! Can't wait to see more :0)

Way to go Maeve! That was so cute! Poor baby, I'm glad you let her have the bottle eventually ;). Aww, she is so cute, I can't believe she is big enough to be starting walking already!
