Maeve is now pulling up on things, eating lotsa food, crawling... And she seems to think that it's A-OK to go from being our sweet little mellow baby to having an... opinion!! GASP! That's right. Our laid-back babe now lets it be known, loudly, when she wants the yogurt to keep a-coming, or the piece of paper back that she's been eating, or if she wants to stick her hands under the faucet when you're trying to move away. She's still a sweetie, but a sweetie with an occasional attitude. It's pretty funny. But it's bittersweet since it means, of course, that she's growing up. Eeek. That phrase: Growing Up. That can't really apply to our little Gator, can it? Let's just say she's developing. Hmmm... that makes it sound like puberty's visiting a little early. Fine, fine. She's "getting bigger".
She loves to pull up on stairs. Time to start keeping the baby gates shut again!

I love when she wears clothes that Nuala did, but it just highlights to me how quickly she's "getting bigger!" I mean, it wasn't ALL that long ago that Nuala was wearing this stuff...
Pulling up on the table... She really enjoys wreaking havoc. I love that phrase. I remember when Nuala and Bran were babies, and their little cousins would come over and Brigit would immediately head for the tables and just pull everything off! Every single time. She was, what? About a year? Yeah. I was in awe at the destructo powers of small children. I don't know why Brigie's power sticks in my mind, but it does! I think because she was so focused on it. She couldn't move on until the table was naked. Bare naked. Anyway... like all little ones, Maeve loves pulling stuff off of and out of things. It's just good old-fashioned fun.

This is mostly to show off her cute monster shoes.
Her first time watching "Baby Signing Time". She was pretty into it for about a minute and a half... Nuala and Bran were quite intent on reliving their babyhood through it, though. And I got to sing all the songs that were still lurking in my brain! Good stuff.Here's a video of her crawling. It's quite cute, I must say ;) Awww, man... I just watched it on here, and the quality is kinda lame. But you get the idea...

I can't decide which picture is cuter ... funny little hair sticking up ... teething on the table ... all those climbing and holding onto stuff! Sometimes she looks like Bran, and sometimes she looks like just herself. Look at those big blue eyes in the one where Nuala is holding her! I love the video ... good crawl, and some fancy foot-ing maneuvers! ...she does a fair amount of talking there too! You are all having tooooo much fun :) Love, Mom (Dad too) xox
Oh my goodness!!! She is so gorgeous!!! I love the crawling video with all her talking and crawling, I can't believe they're crawling already, sigh, time goes so fast. That first picture with her hair up is so cute! Look at that grin...also love the b-baller shot, wish we could have gotten one with them both wearing theirs! Next year maybe, ha ha... Her face watching baby signing time, nice! Oh, now I want to show you Aoife crawling around...
The kids Loved it too, although, they were hoping to watch her get the ball...and they were wondering where Nuala and Bran were. I love this post...look how climby she is . Love this post.
She is so cute! I love, love, the first pic with her hair up. I can't believe she is crawling already, and her little talking is so cute. T loved her video too, she even stopped drinking her sippy to watch. I won't be mean and rub in how huuuugggge your baby is getting like you always did about mine...
