Here she is today, living it up in Cibolo Creek. She's turning into a little river rat, like her brother and sister. Also, see the dragonfly right above her head? He kept faking us out, like he was going to land on her. That's the real reason we were taking pictures, not because she was cute. Just kidding! But it's still pretty cool.
Of course, she's also becoming quite a bit more mobile.
Not crawling yet, but so close. She's scooting now, and still a master wriggler/roller. All over the place.
Granny and Grandad have a jumperoo thing, and she loves it. She gets a-bouncin' and a-laughin' and pretty soon anyone watching is, too. Laughing anyway. Not bouncing, necessarily. Though Grandad does kinda get into it... Her cousin, little Tressa, enjoyed watching and helping her bounce. Such cuties!
Just another insanely adorable picture. I'm kinda biased, but still. Pretty darn adorable.
Still likes her thumb! And her new bumbo! And also, she likes eating paper. My sis-in-law called, and my dad wrote her number on a note for me, but Maeve got a hold of it and totally ate the chunk with her number on it. Gone. Vanished. Just a big ol' shark-bite-looking mark, even though she still has no teeth. She's quick, too. I didn't find that piece later, but I did track down Maria's number, don't worry. I DID find a different large-ish piece (it was blue. It stood out in all that yellow) in one of her diapers another time, so that's definitely something I guess I should keep an eye on. Anyway. Enough diaper talk. Happy 6 months, Maeve!! We love you!

Wow, she's changing so fast. I just realized she's gonna be at the camp out this year and I got SOOOOOOO excited to hold her!!!
Happy six months! Oh, she is just so cute, I can't believe how well she was sitting up in the river!
It was so amazing to see you. I hope you had a wonderful b-day. I totally thought of you and your post when our family when to the Cibilo Wilderness Trail and we got in the water. It was not part of the plan, but the kids gravitated toward the river and had a blast getting wet.
What a big girl! She is adorable! Happy six months, Maeve!
Awww! Happy 6 months! She looks like she is a ton of fun. Great pictures!
You are right about the big belly laughs ... so fun to be around for those! Thanks for sharing the memories! Love (and miss) you all xox
It was so much fun meeting Maeve and seeing how big your other two munchkins have gotten!
I have learned that babies can eat a lot of things that they probably shouldn't eat, and they will just poop them out...One day at church when Alex was about 10 months old, I found nine chunky plastic beads in his diaper. We learned later that he got the beads from his cousin's necklace. Luckily he didn't eat the string! He also ate a lot of crayons when he started going to nursery...now those were some colorful diapers.
