(She has some little pink leggings, but someone left them to dry too close to our campfire a couple of weeks ago and they ended up slightly scorched...I like the blue ones better, anyway :)

Nuala's Uniform
Day after day after day...this is the "chosen" outfit. Dora shirt...little gray skirt with two pink stripes... the accessories change -- hats, crowns, helmets, jewelry, shoes, outerwear -- and occasionally she'll allow us the privilege of seeing her wear other cute clothes, but overall, this is THE Nuala uniform. Often worn to bed, too. Every now and then we are allowed to wash it! Though usually she changes her mind about 5 minutes after they've been soaked and fervently complains the entire rest of the time. Oddly, we haven't had problems with getting a real dress on her for church...occasionally she mentions her "pink Dora shirt" and "pink skirt" (because, hey, the stripes are pink!) but, luckily for us, has never gotten serious about insisting on them come Sunday morning. Phew! Cute, cute, headstrong girl. Bran doesn't care what he wears. As long as his tse-tse (what they call their blankies, and nope, it's not Spanish ;) is around, life is good.

... This is mom ...
Awww, what a cute little pair they are! Nuala looks like a self-confident little model with all her cool "pink" gear ... notwithstanding the blue leggings ... which are cute too! I suppose she hasn't given any thought to the fact that she will, one day, grow out of her "uniform." I think the "bujeans with bockets" may have fit into the Nuala-aged Fiona thingy once upon a time. Bran reminds me of a little Hummel figurine boy ... so cute:) Have I mentioned lately how grateful I am for blog spots ... so we can share in all these wonderful tidbits... thank you F&Z ..... Love, Mom (Dad too) xox
Such high fashion at 2 yrs! Wow these kids are sure good looking.I really like the pink crocs. And Bran looks like a mini Z. But when Z was little he wore the same thing everyday too. But not because of fashion...he was anti bath anti change clothes it takes too much time and I'll just get dirty again anyways....
Haha! She is sooo cute! Awesome uniform :0) Those leggings are cool. I love that last picture especially! They are so so so... twinny, they're so cute! They're going to be best friends forever, what a fun, special relationship.
So, are you okay with Nuala embracing skirts and pink? Haha, just kidding. I love the barrette too. Her hair is getting so long.
I can't wait for her and Brigit to hang out. Maire and Aine can teach them how to do cartwheels or something. and Teresa can teach them how to appreciate the finer things in life, like sleeping. Wow, I'm so excited!
So cute! I love the uniform, very stylish! I wonder where she gets that from...j/k. They are so cute together! I love the last picture, I can't believe how big they are now!
I love that age when they start developing their own fashion sense! Has she discovered purses yet?
I like those two!
Wow There growing up.
In college next week. LOL
Look like lots of fun.
Cloth change with the seasons.
next week it will be something else.
Thank goodness for the seasons.
Still very cute.

Love the uniform! Word to the wise...buy another one or two in the next size up...just in case she hasn't outgrown the "uniform" before she outgrows the shirt, LOL. She's adorable...as is Bran! Mom is totally right about him looking like a Hummel figurine!
I love it! The outfit and the hair! I really like Nuala's hair like that with no bangs and pulled back. She has such a cute little face. Love the style! It reminds me of Paige at that age. The boys have never really cared what they wear or how they look, but Paige sure did/does and is very sure of her fashion sense just like Nuala.
Fiona, it is now May 7th. It has been almost a whole week without a new post. Who cares if you're super busy trying to pack out and stuff ;0) Just kidding, I care, good luck!
It sounds like a cheap way to live! They look so grown up in those pictures!
They are SOOOO cute Fiona! Little super models. I love how they are hugging each other.
I love that last picture - so cute! And Nuala appears to be quite fashion-forward. :) I looked all winter for leggings for Woodstock - couldn't find a single pair under $30 in her size. And who wants to pay $30 for anything a child is going to wear for 2 1/2 minutes until they grow out of it?
Nuala's had those little leggings since she was 3 or 4 months old! They're actually little leg warmers, so that's why they fit for so long. I got 'em on www.babylegs.com where they're $12 and she's worn them off and on ever since. I love them! Though apparently little baby/kid leg warmers are easy and fun to make, so maybe one of these days I'll give it a shot. I need a sewing machine...
She loves the couple of purses she has, but not with the intensity that I'm sure will come. She forgets about them for days at a time, then will go through a period of needing to take them everywhere. Gotta love little girls!
