Poor little Colin, our almost-16-month old nephew, broke his cute little arm in 2 places last week. I'm pretty sure my kiddos will never, ever break a bone, and I just don't understand parents who let that sort of thing happen to their small children (shaking head disapprovingly...). Haha! Yeah, right! I'm amazed we haven't had a broken bone yet. Don't feel badly, Erin! Just put the suitcase away next time... ;) Anyway, Nuala and Bran were pretty fascinated by the whole concept, and seemed to be pretty sympathetic, too. Little kids are so caring. Here's Nuala telling about it. With a little help.
And poor Bran. During the whole vid, he's saying stuff like "See boke arm" and "see Colin, Mama! Owie!" but do I let the poor kid perform? Nope. And then I totally don't even give him credit for saying all that. Only later I realized he was talking about Colin's owie and not the camera. Usually he's asking for the camera. At 50 seconds, Nuala says, "Noona, chupa!" and a chupa is a sucker...lollipop. I guess she thought she deserved a reward. She only got avena (oatmeal).
Get better, Colin!!

That was great! They are very compassionate... look at Nuala's face, she really seems to be feeling his hurt! She says "doctor" and "arm" so clearly ... and is wonderfully expressive :) Poor little Bran, I can hear him telling about it ... and he's doing a good job too, trying to get his words in edgewise there!!! I had fun watching it over and over (I guess grannies do that type of thing...) love you all, Mom (Dad too) xox
I have to admit I watched it twice myself (does that make me a granny too?). haha. Nuala is so expressive when she is thinking hard and also when she is talking! And Bran is quite the handsome little fella these days. Hope Colin feels better!

Oh, so sweet! Thank you Nuala and Bran! I love when Nuala says "Doctor" Her cute little face, so expressive and sincere. She did look very concerned there at the beginning. Bran's so cute too, I can't believe you didn't give him more camera time ;0) I love listening to their voices, sooo cute!
Way cute, I love the way Nuala says doctor, too! Poor Bran, I'm glad he got some camera time finally...oatmeal sounds like a pretty good reward, although I'm sure Nuala would have preferred a sucker!
I loved that!!! It is funny that you didn't notice what Bran was saying. I am sure I would be the same. All Jonah ever wants is to see the camera- to see himself of course and Jack just wants the camera. He likes to take pictures...
Anyways, I loved hearing their little voices! Two year olds are the best!
