Carnivorous ponies

Yesterday we went to a large park in Montevideo called the Prado. They have all kinds of little things for kids to do like you can pay 10 pesos (about 45 cents) to rent one of those kid size electric cars that always looked so cool to have at Toys-R-Us when we were kids. They also have ponies, and right now anything animals is really exciting for Nuala and Bran. While they are too small to ride they really like to look and touch so we took them to look at the ponies for a few minutes before checking out the swings and getting some ice cream. Now, Bran is always very cautious when it comes to new experiences he likes to hang back for a minute or two and make sure it's safe before jumping right in. So I was crouched down next to the pony, and after scratching his muzzle was talking to Bran who was very animated as any one year old is around new animals. When all the sudden he got this really worried look on his face, his pointing finger came up, and he started to scream animatedly looking from me to where he was pointing and back to me. While Bran and I had been talking the pony had decided to nibble on my arm with his lips, big lips, which kind of wrapped around my arm. Well to Bran it looked like Daddies arm was being eaten, much cause to be worried, especially when it's apparent that daddy is such a bumbling dolt that he would never notice his arm getting eaten by a carnivorous pony. The look of concern and raise of alarm to protect daddy were just priceless. Beware the carnivorous ponies!!

That was hilarious (sp?). That's a great idea for a horror movie. It should be Killer Tomatoes vs. Carnivorous Ponies.

Well...remember the carnivorous goat we had? ok not really carnivorous...just homeworknivorous. I brought you home from school one day and the goat grabbed your homework out of your hands and ate it! We knew Mr. Campbell would never believe such a tale! LOL

I had an experience like this but it was geese. I was with Grandma at palmerton park and some wild geese came after us.

I still remember being absolutely terrified that the geese were going to eat me!

Bran probably will remember those ponies...
