It was a tad bit muddy, but that's one of the many, many uses of little children, to locate and collect any dirt. They liked grabbing at the low-hanging lemons, and Nuala had bits of grass and twigs locked in the double-fisted-grip-of-iron. Bran discovered the little strip of landscaping along the edge of the pool fence and had fun digging his little fingers into the damp earth there.
When we finally went back inside, Nuala kept gagging a little bit, so I did the finger sweep thing and there wasn't anything in there. Of course not, because she had already swallowed it. After a few more gag sessions, up it came. A perfect little green leaf, a vibrant island in a sea of milk and tiny banana lumps. I couldn't help but think of Finnigan, one of our cats still in Virginia till the weather cools enough to fly them out. He always would come inside, gag a few times, and finally puke up some grass. Sigh...how we miss those cats... sweet of Nuala to try and fill the void.
We had a lot of fun finally getting to play outside! Bran did get a little over-zealous at the end and tackled Nuala, as seen in this picture. She didn't seem to mind, being tackled outside is obviously LOADS better than being tackled inside.

They are getting so big and they are just TOO cute! I love your house!
I love reading your posts, they are pretty entertaining sometimes. :-)
Love it! LOL!!! I like how the photo in the last post shows them looking out the door longing to go outside and finally you let them! And they have a ball, tackling each other and eating mother nature (there's nothing wrong with that, is there?) I love that Bran tackled Nuala, a sign of things to come..........
Your kids are so cute! I can't believe they're walking!!!!! They look like so much fun! Congrats on the new house, I wish I had a lemon tree. By the way, this is Megan, not Greg.
I love to let my kids get down and dirty outside and let them just play and be kids! I think yours like it to! What are you going to do with all those lemons?
Dad & I loved your recent post and pics! You even changed your fam pic up on the right...it's a great one of all four of you. Oh, to have a fresh lemon tree like that...hmmm, we'd surely put them to good use ... and I am sure you will too. Now, remember, you just squeeeeeze one lemon and add about 12 ozs. warm water and give it to Zac for breakfast! Nuala and Bran are so cute out in the yard...I am supposing Bran must've sampled that lemon he was holding (surely?)...it wouldn't be like him to not experience it with his most acute method of measurement! Poor Nuala, she may be being tackled, but I know she can fend for herself just fine too ! Oh dear, I wonder what she thought as the little green leaf went sliding down her neck... maybe she thought she was a cat! Oh, Aislinn sent the cutest pic of Declan and Rowan this afternoon...hope she sent it to you too.... don't know why she didn't put it on her blog....hmmm, Aislinn?
love you all, Dad & Mom xox
Cute, cute, cute! That lemon tree looks divine! I love how Mom makes comments on YOUR blog about me not writing on MY blog. *sigh* Okay, okay...
