Here we are, in Texas! And it's sooo green! Summertime is not usually an exceptionally green time of the year here in the Lone Star State, but crazy amounts of rain change things. It's gorgeous!
We went up to Austin on Monday so the babies and I could stay with Aislinn for a few days. Zachariah is in Oregon, sleeping in and camping. Right when we pulled into Aislinn's driveway, it began to rain -- gigantic, heavy drops, practically little water grenades...you know the type I'm talking about...As they landed on the nice hot driveway, they sizzled and almost immediately evaporated. It was really cool to watch, these steamy, disappearing raindrops. After a minute or two, the rain overpowered the soaked-in heat and drenched the driveway and us as we lugged all the baby stuff inside. And, speaking of baby stuff...here are some updates!
Baby news: Bran and Nuala are crawling like ants at a picnic -- they're all over the place! I'll put up a little video of the speed demons, it's seriously exhausting. Also, Bran has mastered the art of pulling himself up on couches, Grandad's knee, the pack n'play, his sister.... Adorable, except at Aislinn's I was in the same room as the babies, so Bran would wake up early and do his normal babbling and playing, then pull himself up, peek over the edge, and see me huddled in bed, hoping in vain that he was really still tired and would go back to sleep. Yeah, right. But, oh-so-cute!

Making your finally rounds before leaving? Wish I could have seen you too before you left. Cara said she saw you and that the babies are even cutier in person. Can't wait to see the videos!!!
They can always sense that your pretending to sleep. It's like a six sense. Even if your in different parts of the house they can tell. It's so much fun when they start to use each other as stepping stools. Wait till they start wrestling. It's awesome!
The little rascal! He's going to be walking in a month... Wish you all had come camping with me, it was fun, and the little guys would have had fun in the water. See you tomorrow!!
I hate to tell you but it all goes down hill when they start to walk! Sure its cute and you love to see them get bigger and do things by themselves, but now that there mobile! No more picked up house! I can't keep up with my little one! I wish you the best with trying to keep up with two! On the plus side you won't have to work out!!!
Tears. Wish I was in Texas.
Although I am really glad I am here in Utah. I really will have to do my best to come see you in Montevideo.
