38w2d...2 days to go!

Well, here we are at 38 weeks and 2 days. This time on Tuesday, we'll have two babies. Well, we have two babies now, but on Tuesday they'll be outside of my body. Oh, the joy! Seriously, it's so uncomfortable to sleep nowadays! It used to be that I needed to stuff a pillow under my stomach (and in various other places), but now it's my ribs that need support. The little boy is constantly sticking his behind and feet into my ribs and for some reason it makes them feel like they're going to collapse or snap or something else just as desirable.

Last Monday the ultasound tech tried one last time to get a weight estimate. It gets more and more difficult the bigger they get since everyone's so tight in there. Anyway, little guy is estimated at 6lbs. 10oz, and little girl at 6lbs. 3oz. Of course, they could be smaller or bigger than expected, but looks like they'll be decent sizes for twins.

Whew. This still feels very unreal, but reality will sink in soon enough!
